Energy as an important part of relationship to national life and people’s lives,with the increased national economic and social development, the electricity-relatedenterprises and institutions is also growing demand for electricity, electrical energy asa marker to reflect the comprehensive national strength and prepareconcern. In recentyears, access to a huge emotional load and nonlinear load, making accuratemeasurement of a lot of errors on the reactive power, reactive power imbalance, andgrowing, thus leading to a voltage and currentdeviation as well as voltage fluctuationson power quality. Improve the measurement accuracy of the reactive power tocontribute to the achievement of the key technologies of the reactive powercompensation, how to improve the measurement accuracy of the reactive power tobecome a hot research topic of electricity. We use energy meter for reactive powermeasurement principle is based on the assumption of sinusoidal periodic voltage andcurrent signals, it is the theoretical basis according to the sinusoidal power theory,however, the power meter value based on such principle can only befor measuring thesupply current and supply voltage waveforms without any distortion of the linear loadelectricity. However, with access to more and more nonlinear devices in the powersystem, grid and load characteristics has changed a lot, the power systemcharacteristics, current and voltage occur distortion and asymmetric changeisextremely obvious. In such circumstances, theory of the sinusoidal power will becomeincreasingly unsuited to the development of future electricity system.Starting from Budeanu reactive power theory, the system of several reactivepower in the existing circuit measurement methods and analyze.About measurementproblems, a new algorithm for reactive power measurementn is presented, reactivepower measurement method based on Hilbert transformation. The algorithm based onwindowed interpolation FFT algorithm to reconstruction of Hilbert, therebyimproving the accuracy of the measurement of reactive power.This paper focuses on the reactive power measurement algorithm throughsimulation experiments with other algorithms were analyzed in a detailed analysis ofthe proposed measure the reactive power measurement method based on Hilberttransformation. The experimental results show that: when the frequency changes, the existing algorithms on the measurement accuracy, the larger the change, the relativeerror of the method significantly improved the accuracy of measurement of reactivepower there, the relative error compared withsmall, can be a good measurement ofreactive power. Finally, through the design of the hardware for the algorithm is animplementation platform.
