With the development of the world automobile industry and transport vehicles distribution network is more and more intensive, passive safety of all kinds of vehicles is always the focus of attention. In our country, the car quantity keeps increasing year by year. Meanwhile the quantity and type commercial vehicles are also developing steadily. It is known that many people lost their lives due to traffic accident, therefore, the government and the enterprise conduct further research on the commercial vehicle safety performance immediately in order to protect people’safety.Although the safety performance gets improvement in some extent with the the deeper analysis of the accident data and the application of computer aided design, the commercial vehicle passive safety regulations are still not complete at home and abroad.The pendulum experiment set by the ECE R29"Uniform Provisions Concerning The Approval of Vehicles With Regard To The Protection of The Occupants of The Cab of A Commercial Vehicle" cann’t reflect the safety performance in many kinds of crash situations,and there are no certain dynamic crash regulations in our country. For that reason, summarize the accident patterns accident in different vehicle collision and design a systematic bus-to-truck methods in different velocity and angle can fill the gaps on crashworthiness of bus, further studies on bus structural safety is realized by company.The bus is taken as the target vehicle in the research of the vehicle structural safety.The numerical results calculated by Hypermesh software are used for body study as the basic data, of the numerical data to be regarded as the research, The bus design in the material and thickness can be analysed according to each key energy absorbing component in the collision process of deformation situation, secondly comparing to energy-absorbing component deformation, the structural stiffness is the best design and matching or not can be studied. The crashworthiness structure defects can be find through the reasonable design scheme and the safety design of bus can be further guided, meanwhile more casualties are avoided, the structural system safety and public traffic safety are improved...
