Practice And Application Of Consolidation Grouting Technology In Dongsheng Hydropower Station

In a few decades, with the development of hydropower, consolidationgrouting is widely used in reinforcing the dam foundation. Consolidationgrouting has great effect on increasing the integrity of the bedrock, theintensity of the bedrock, the elastic modulus of the bedrock.This paper is based on consolidation grouting engineering of Dongshenghydropower station, it introduces the knowledge of grouting and the wholeconsolidation grouting process in detail. Dongsheng station usesrock-fill concrete gravity retaining structures, because of theself-compacting concrete is not good enough, the concrete filling is notenough close-grained. It makes a great difficulties in drillingconstruction. In order to solve the problem we grout the ripped-rockthrough a few of shallow holes，after the cement condensated we drill thegrouting holes again，then overall consolidation grouting. It improvesthe whole efficiency of construction. Until the consolidation grouting，through drilling check and packer permeability test, the effect ofgrouting is obvious and meets the design requirements.This has great practical value，it has great reference to the samegrouting construction and can be promoted in the later practicalengineering.
