In this paper, the research object is a set of hydraulic system of oscillating deck necking machine for domestic company. The operating principle is introduced in detail in the paper.Based on understanding the hydraulic system of oscillating deck necking machine, the mathematical model of the hydraulic system is built through the method of transfer function. Considering the structure characteristic of the valve controlling cylinder, the model of the system is respectively built in the positive and negative orientation of valve port. The model not only accurately embodies dynamic characteristics of this system, but also provides the theoretical reference on gaining accurate parameter for the system and components.In order to improve and enhance, it is necessary to analyze the performance of the system after designing the control system. Simulink of MATLAB software is applied in the paper to realize the system simulation. The curves indicating the system dynamic characteristic are gained. And analyze the results of simulation.To improve the system dynamic characteristic, the PID controller and the fuzzy controller are designed. By the simulation results indicated, both two controllers can improve the system’s rapid response and high stability, and the model optimization is also realized. The fuzzy controller is better than the common PID controller.
