Referring to the existing bogies, a new type of bogie for CMC-16rail grindingvehicle is suggested in this thesis. The dynamic model of the rail grinding vehicle is setup, and the dynamic performance of the car is studied and the strength and modal of thebogie frame is analyzed. The thesis includes several parts below:1. An overview of the development process of our country’s large railwaymaintenance vehicle for several decades is provided, and the necessity and feasibility ofstudy and application of our country’s large railway maintenance are represented.2. According to specification of the CMC-16rail grinding vehicle bogie, thestructure, the selection of the bogie’s parts and the main technical parameters of it aredetermined.3. The dynamic calculation content and performance evaluation method of railgrinding vehicle system are described, and stability, ride comfort and curving behavior ofthe rail grinding vehicle system are represented, and the nonlinear mathematical model ofrail grinding vehicle system is described, including aspects of nonlinear system, basicassumptions of calculation, freedom of the system model and basic system parameters.4. Dynamic performance of the CMC-16rail grinding vehicle is analyzed, and thenonlinear stability, ride comfort and curving behavior can meet the requirement ofGB/T17426-1996if the car runs with speed below120km/h.5. According to the analysis of strength and modal of the rail grinding vehicle’sbogie frame, the designed bogie frame in this thesis can meet the requirement ofTB/T1335-1996.
