In recent years, with the rapid development of science and technology, comprehensive national strength steadily increased, the state of water infrastructure investment is also growing. Pumping water industry as an important part in the fight against flood and drought disasters, inter-basin transfer of water conservancy practice plays a vital role. A high degree of automation of pumping stations abroad, for a variety of real-time monitoring of operating parameters of the pumping station, track record, saving a lot of manpower, material resources, ready to solve any problems found. However, our current pumping efficiency is relatively low, generally about30%, some even as low as20%, wasting a lot of resource, can be seen to accelerate the introduction of advanced technology to improve the automation of the pumping station operation and management level is significant.This paper analyzes the international status of pump-related technology development, pointed out that China’s current construction standards is relatively low pumping station, mechanical and electrical equipment technology is relatively backward, more defects, except for a small pumping station facilities conducted renovation, the construction of aging damage serious, extended service mechanical and electrical equipment, inefficient, high energy consumption, fault occur. In order to focus on research of irrigation Feng jiashan reservoir, pumping stations to ensure safe operation, give full play to irrigation efficiency, to promote regional economic and social development, combined with the specific circumstances of Cassia former pumping station, pumping station control object studied, information pumping station automation for integrated system functional requirements such as data acquisition and processing, safe operation of the monitoring and event alarms, pump station operation guidance, protection and recall the accident, man-machine interface, communications and other systems have done a detailed analysis, a pumping station integrated information system design automation.The program including the pumping station automation of information collection, automatic pump control, level measurement, flow measurement, gate control, electrical protection, industrial video and other parts. Pump station monitoring systems are computer-controlled measurement and control unit and are in parts. Can monitor and control part is in the operational parameters of the pumping station, transmission control center to capture a higher level of data and information related to the operation of equipment, can also be run independently of the computer control unit, receiving instructions are underground line monitoring equipment. Pump station monitoring system data acquisition and information processing and control functions mainly by the major part is to be completed, failure alarm, security, performance monitoring, and higher control center of communications, records and other data stored by the computer control unit to complete. Information design is completed the pumping station master-level automated integrated system, is to control the unit, microprocessor-based protection, industrial video, communication networks and other parts of the hardware configuration, software configuration based on MCGS completed the man-machine interface and remote scheduling part of the pumping station the design. Finally, according to the process of pumping stations running some problems using genetic algorithms to optimize scheduling of pumping unit conducted a preliminary study, we propose a mathematical model and solution for the future operation and management of the genetic algorithm is applied to provide a pumping station basis.
