Study On The Passenger Traffic Volume Forecast And The Business Model Of The Bus Terminal

This paper mainly studies the passenger traffic volume forecast and the business modelof the bus terminal, namely the combination of passenger traffic and commercial. As thepassenger traffic volume forecast is the foundation of the construction of the bus terminal,accurately predicting the passenger capacity play a significant part in the scale fitness of theconstruction of the bus terminal. It can facilitate the construction and the development of thebus terminal to combine the passenger traffic with the commercial.The passenger traffic volume forecast is one of the key links of the construction of busterminal. It is an imperative indicator to predict the passenger traffic, which reflects the scaleof the bus terminal and its productive capacity. MATLAB is used to predict the passengercapacity. By contrast, a lot of charts are analyzed, through which, the forecast characteristicsand applicable conditions of different kinds of forecasting methods are pointed out. At present,most of the methods, which are used to predict the passenger traffic, are some traditionalmethods. There are some shortages in the traditional methods. The subjective experientialerrors are enlarged in cubic exponential smoothing method because of the magnificationeffect of weight coefficient, so that the predicting error is enlarged in cubic exponentialsmoothing method. The nonlinear prediction ability of the regression analysis is poor and theweight coefficient assignment problem exists in the combination forecasting. The advantagesof the neural network resolve the three problems successfully in this paper. Meanwhile, theintroduction of neural network perfects the passenger traffic volume forecast of the busterminal.Highway construction has gotten a rapid development in recent years. However, busterminal, as the most important road infrastructure, grows up slowly. The main reasons are asfollow. First of all, financing is too single. The construction capital mainly relies on thegovernment. Furthermore, the operational benefit is poor and the capital reclaims slow. If thepassenger traffic combines with the business at this time, these problems can be solved easily. Yet, at present, there are few researches related to the passenger traffic and commercialcombination. This paper has done some exploratory researches on passenger traffic andcommercial combination, and offered the theoretical foundation of the combination ofpassenger traffic and commercial. In addition, seven advantages of the combination of thepassenger traffic and commercial are listed. Moreover, passenger traffic and commercialcombination mode have been divided into tangible and intangible models. Beyond that, thepaper puts forward with the guiding ideology and the specific layout form of the constructionof synthetic bus terminal, which combines the bus terminal and commercial. At last,construction of synthetic bus terminal was studied in detail with the example of Zhen’an busterminal.
