With the repid development of Chinese economy,urbanization has been accelerating inour country,the scale of buildings expands unceasingly.Building ceramic brick needed are alsogrowing,this needs more and more limited clay resources.The gangue is one of the industrialsolid waste has largest discharge and stacking,the self-ignited coal gangue instead of clay andadd flux sintering ceramics.Because of coal gangue contained more clayey and ceramic rawmaterials of inactive raw material silica,using it to preparation building ceramics has largerspace.These coal gangue have caused many disadvantageous influences:OccupiedSpace,affect the landscape mosaic,causes the water, soil, atmosphere pollution evengeological disasters,and that have many negative influences on people’s health, well-beingand life quality.If not by using coal gangue in time,long-term piled up in the soil.Undernatural conditions,coal gangue will react chemically with its ambient medium lead theenvironment deterioration.Coal gangue landslides causing geological hazards.With ourcountry puts a high valued on use of coal gangue and new building materials develop,thenational implementation of the new energy strategy,and our country’s energy policy andregulations promulgated.There is so much room for utilize coal gangue to produce Coalgangue building ceramic.In this article, using spontaneous combustion gangue of Tongchuan as raw material.Thenafter the pre-processes of crushing, grind and screening, coal gangue will be turned intogranules or pellets. Firstly this paper comparative analysis ingredients of coal gangue.Againaccording to the coal gangue add different proportion of flux and binder with mixed. After theprocess of milling, screening, ingredient, shape and incinerate, Coal gangue building ceramicshas high strength, low bibulous rate, low density. The composition of coal gangue, mixedquantity of binde, the mixed quantity of flux borax, superfine glass powder and lithiumcarbonate, holding heat time,that the influence of Coal gangue building ceramicsare are theemphasis of this thesis.The microstructure of the spontaneous combustion gangue is analyzedby scanning electron microscope (SEM) and X-ray diffraction (XRD), and analyzed Themicrostructure of Coal gangue building ceramicsare.This study finally choose gangue200mesh, sodium silicate choose2.3mode, out of mixing content is25%, glass powder mixing content is25%, borax mixing content is25%,lithium carbonate mixing content is3%. Specimen superior performance, bibulous rate is lowand high strength on the900℃for sinteringand holding time4.5h condition.The surface ofCoal gangue building ceramicsare flatness is better, volume density of1.20~1.34g/cm3,bibulous rate is5%~10%, compressive strength can be as high as10MPa.
