| Low-voltage circuit breaker is a kind of important electricity-distributed equipment. Itsquality plays a crucial role in the low-voltage switch equipment set. And the development ofvirtual prototyping technology greatly reduces the production cycle and cost of low voltagecircuit breaker. Delay tripping process is one of the most important functions, which is verycomplex, involving electricity, heat, Mechanics, etc. Therefore it is an important topic that howto use the virtual prototyping technology for low voltage circuit breaker into visual simulation.Based on the TM-30/100breaker as the main research object, according to the fuction andcharacteristic of the PRO/E, ANSYS, ADAMS software, the combination of the three methods isproposed in the paper. The result data of finite element simulation drives ADAMS to simulateand analyse the process of long-time delay about low voltage circuit breaker, getting the wholeprocess of the thermal-bimetal simulation results from contacting the draw to driving the draw.The electric-thermal-structure method of ANSYS software was utilized to analyse transientprocess of Mouled Case Circuit Breaker. It was simulated temperature distribution anddisplacement curve of thermal-bimetal under different operation vurrents. The results show thatthe simulation data of thermal operation characteristics such as temperature distribution matchthe experimental data very well.By using combination ADAMS with ANSYS software to generate the rigid-flexiblecoupling dynamics model, we can clearly observe the delay tripping process of the molded casecircuit breaker. With the anslyzing and simulation, it is significant that it can be used to studythe manufacture, amelioration and experiment of testing of the product in order to improve thestability and depengd ability further. |
