With the computer software developing, Virtual Prototype Technology appling in the product design become more and more wide. At the same time, it is also the key technique for development of new low-voltage electrical apparatus, espericaly simulation sofeware ADAMS appearance bring a leap of progress. Comparing with the traditional method which repeats to make the real prototype and test it, the new approach greatly shorten the period of development and save the cost, it's also has more flexible. Through the accurately setting up three-mimensional model, we can get the same performance as the real prototype of the machine; through the dynamic simulation, we can know the position of mechanism motion at every moment; through changing the structure and parameter of the model,we can make the model meet the condition booked and reach optimum design.This subject reaserch TIM1-125 Molded Case Circuit Breaker, based on software PRO/E and ADAMS in order to realize the multi-body dynamics system integrate simulate.At first, set up the three-mimensional model with the sofeware PROE and assemble the part each other.Using ADAMS software simulate and analyses the three kinds of sport forms without load including the mechanism open, release and take off, and get the trace grach of the end point on contact.The model is confirmed by experiments on the mechanical performance of the tested circuit breakers.In this paper, otherwise, use ANSYS to 3-D finite element anslysis to calculate the repulsion force between contacts, so add the result on the model, analyses the switch off motion of breaker under the condition of the anticipated peak current and study the influence of the electrodynamic force on open time.Based on the model, the effect of different factors including spring stiffness, axis position of links and structure of parts to the operating velocity of mechanism was analyzed. Aim at improving breaking capacity, in this paper, simple and parametric design the operating mechanism to the best results. In facts, the sliding misoperation is frequently apprear, it can terrible the life of people and factory running, so analyze the cause of the problemes and get the peoposed solution.With the analyzing and simulation, it is significant that it can be used to study the manufacture, amelioration and experiment of testing of the product in order to improve the stability and dependability further.
