Along with the development of transportation and civilization in our country, a lot ofcurved bridges have been widely applied in the mountain highway and interchange ramp.Due to the impact of curvature, the curve beam bridge has a coupling of bending momentand torque. Concrete curve beam bridge modeling calculation method than the straightgirder bridge complex.In the practical design of curved beam bridge, the design methods can be divided into3kinds: linear generation curve method, single beam method and beam grid method. Amongthese3calculation methods: regarding the difficulty, the linear generation curve method isthe simplest, then the single beam method secondly, and finally the beam grid method.However, the precision is converse for the3methods. Therefore, if the applicableconditions of these3methods have been identified will improve design efficiency.Within the Inner Mongolia new North interchange ramp a bridge project, In this paper, theresearch content and the main results are as follows:(1) With the consideration of the deck width B, the largest span L, and the bridge radiusR, and taking the calculation results of the beam grid method as accurate, the paperanalyzes the influence results and rules of3calculation methods on the modeling result.Found that the accuracy of the two methods as the R increases, decrease with L increasing,increases with increasing B.(2) With the conditions that the curve beam bridge, the largest known width and spanradius are known, taking10%error rate as the a control target, and taking the calculationresults of the beam grid method as accurate, the paper can fit the discriminant formulabased on the critical values of linear generation curve and single beam methods, i.e., RLand RS. Finally, it compares the research results and discriminant formula with the state ofart to prove their validity.
