Measurement System Design For Charcoal Heater Spark In Microwave And Spark Improvement

With the development of people’s living standard, the microwave oven has gained the popularity. Due to fast heating, no fire and smoke, microwave oven is becoming more and more popular. It is the first time for LG Company to apply charcoal heater as core component to our grill microwave models, but charcoal heater spark happened in the microwave, so main research content of this paper is how to test, evaluate and solve the spark, and finally apply charcoal heater to our products.In this paper, the measurement system for charcoal heater spark is designed based on the transmission line principle. I analyzed the raw cause of spark detailed with theory and simulation combination and finally solved the spark problem and passed the test. The following is my main work.Analyzed the cause of spark in detail with theory, simulation and experiments and solved the problem successfully through microwave shielding protector design.New charcoal heater spark measurement system was designed. It was based on magnetron test system, avoided the microwave leakage and visualized the spark phenomenon and realized spark quantitative management and controllable in laboratory through adjusting the power supply to realize that the input power and the electronic field around heaters increasing.Grill heating system was designed and it increased heating efficiency and evenness through heater reflector optimization.New slice charcoal heater was designed successfully. The slice charcoal heater doesn’t spark in microwave without protector. It enriches our product structure and enhances the core part competitiveness of our company.The main research of this paper has solved charcoal heater spark, set up visualized microwave test system, improved the evenness of grill heating system, increased the heating efficiency and developed new charcoal heater. It has practical value and reference for those who will research charcoal heater and spark in the future.
