| Transmission case is a key part in the drive system of the loader, and its performance may have direct effect on that of the loader. The key to improve the quality of loader and reduce the cost is to enhance the quality of transmission case and reduce its cost. Based on the research and analysis of the state of transmission case production in domestic construction machinery industry and existing problems with it, a brand-new transmission case line is designed according to the specific situation of Xuzhou Loading Machinery Factory (XLMF) in this paper. The production line, which will ensure high quality of transmission case thus produced while maintaining high production efficiency is considered as the most sophisticated and rational in terms of planning and design in transmission case manufacturing industry in china. Other transmission case manufacturers can also take advantage of it. The paper is developed as follows: 1. Full research and analysis on the production of all transmission case manufactures in china have been conducted. Detailed and useful information on the production process and forms of organization comes from wide visits to and exchanges with many big domestic transmission case manufacturers in construction machinery industry. After making a deep comparison and study on the information, the paper points out the advantage and disadvantage of each production process. And the planning and design of XLMF's transmission case line makes the best of the research results. 2. A production line for transmission housing is designed in the paper based on a comparatively deep analysis of the technology and method of processing transmission housing. A complete set of processing technology for transmission housing is devised in this paper based on the deep analysis and demonstration of the procedures for processing transmission housing, a key part in transmission case. A hole-machining line for transmission housing is designed as required of the processing technology. The line is composed of five special machine sets, such as boring machine set capable of processing five sets of holes, all-sided drilling and reaming machine set, etc. With advanced and complete function, rational and compact structure, the line designed in this paper will raise efficiency in transmission housing production and machining precision, and will save space for the installation of equipment. It is the most rational in design, the most efficient in production and the lowest in investment in china.What's more, methods and ways for processing other key parts of the transmission case are developed in this paper based on a full analysis of their requirements for processing technology and machining precision. 3. An assembly line for transmission case is designed in this paper. An assembly line for transmission case is designed on the basis of a full analysis and study on the whole assembly process of transmission case. The line takes advantage of all forms of organization in assembly of all transmission case manufacturers in china. The whole production process consists of component-cleaning line, partial assembly, whole assembly, transmission case running in and paint spraying. The line features in compact and rational layout, smooth process and high efficiency in production. When designing the line, the paper makes a comprehensive analysis and research respectively on the design and configuration of cleaning machine, run-in stand, spray-painting line and other equipments, and specifies corresponding technical requirements. 4. A complete set of material distribution system is also designed for the transmission case line in this paper. In order to improve productivity of the transmission case line, a complete set of material distribution system is devised in the paper as required of the whole production line, so as to improve productivity. The system is characterized by clear and concise layout and all necessary equipment for material distribution, which ensures smooth and efficient operation of the material distribution system.
