Chinese Modern Higher Engineeringeducators played a decisive role in Chinese higher engineering education and theireducational philosophies and practices promote the development of modernengineering education.Chinese Modern Higher Engineering educators combined the western philosophiesof engineering education with traditional culture, persistently endeavored to localizethe former in order to satisfy the request for talents, enacted the new interpretation ofthe traditional idea, Practical Statecraft, and creatively explicated the value of keepingpace with times and moral education first, which powerfully promoted thedevelopment of Engineering Education in modern China.
