Hydraulic bender is kind of professional tool, which is used for pipe bending. Itis widely applied in the industry of electric power, petroleum, natural gas, chemical,shipyard, and boiler.Basing on much research for the electric hydraulic bender working theory andstructure, this paper revoles key part of electric hydraulic bender named super highpressure electric pump. As process of the pipe bending doesn’t require the fluidstability, a simpler super high pressure electric pump is introduced which is differentfrom the tradition. However, the process of pipe bending has special pressurerequirement for the super high pressure electric pump, whose max value should beabove50MPa under condition of satisfying the quality and lifetime. With improvingthe pressure of pump, the crucial parts like motor frame and shaft should beredesigned and verified. The efficiency of the electric pump is another key parameter.In order to improve the efficiency of pump, lots of analyses regarding the factor of theefficiency and CFD simulations will be done. Meanwhile, research has been done onthe movement and force analysis for the steel ball.This paper consists of following contents:1) This paper creates the velocity and accerlation equation basing on theanalysis of electric hydraulic bender working theory including driven andforming structure. With help of MATLAB, the movement discipline ofeccentric and piston coupling has been got. Meanwhile, the force analyses ofthe key part electric motor shaft and frame are also done.2) With fluid dynamic simulation tool of ANSYS CFX, the internal fluid fieldof super-high pressure electric pump is simulated. The max speed anddisplacement for the steel ball have been got.The fluid field is depicted withcontour and animation, which shows the changes of velocity and fluidpressure during the steel ball rising.3) It discovers the cause of crucial part of motor shaft failure with help of ANSYS WORKBENCH. It eliminates the failure produced by resonantfrequency after simulation. Through metallographic test of welding defectand crack welding frame, the improvement for the solution is got.4) The test bench is established and the performance test for the initial prototypeis carried out. Combining the simulation and test results, the structure of thesuper-high pressure pump is improved.The improved structure is tested andproved that the efficiency of the super-high pressure electric pump isimproved to79%.The above research contents and results create the theory and experimentfoundation for development of new super high pressure electric pump.
