Ship electric propulsion system is the integrated ship power development,power and propulsion plant will be combined. It is the emergence and developmentand on-board increase in electricity capacity and jointly promote the development ofelectric propulsion inevitable.Marine power distribution board is the hub of ship power plant, which receivedthe original motive power and then sent to each according to need electricity load at.Ship electric propulsion systems generally use an integrated high voltage,high-capacity power plant. It’s main switchboard and general marine low-voltagedistribution board is different, using a higher voltage level, personal safety andequipment safety requirements are higher. At present, China has independentlydeveloped high-voltage power distribution board ship also less. Therefore, based onthe domestic industrial base, develop a new type of marine high-voltage powerdistribution board is meaningful.In this paper, test and computational methods designed a new type of marinehigh-voltage power distribution board. In the design stage, through research andproduct standards, technical specifications put forward. During the constructiondesign stage, for the electrical design and mechanical design, through testing andcalculation methods to solve the interlocking, bus dynamic thermal stability,tolerance and other key environmental issues. Created a prototype, and through thetype testing.
