Excavators is widely used in industrial construction, civil construction, transportation,water conservancy, power engineering and mining industry,and other constructionmachinery, playing a very important role in earthwork construction. Traditional excavator inthe course of their work, in addition to the existence of the energy can not be fully utilized,but also easy to cause heating of the hydraulic system, excavator machine stability andperformance. While balance excavator can better solve the energy use and system heatproblems. It is necessary to analysis and research energy-saving of balance excavator.Energy saving is put forward to traditional excavator. At first, analyze a variety ofenergy loss of the excavator in the course of their work. Excavator mechanical energy(kinetic and potential energy) losses caused by the conclusions of the main energy waste.Second, according to “the principles of the mechanical design of energy-saving” andmechanical balance and hydraulic balancing system get a new hydraulic-mechanical mixingbalance system. Put forward two kinds of balance excavator design scheme. Two designschemes are the main features of the will of the fixed counterweight design for excavatorcounterweight activities. Through activities with heavy oil cylinder and arm oil cylinder ormeasures stem oil cylinder composed "hydraulic-machine balancing system".When activitiesand moving arm, a counterweight pole, bucket and other components of the system for aconstant or potential energy in a small scope changes implement each cylinder pressuredifference for a constant or in a small scope changes; Activities counterweight and boom,dipper stick, bucket and other component systems for the potential energy is unconstant orchanges in a wide range based on the hydraulic-mechanical balance system ", also can beachieved to the respective cylinder pressure difference is constant or changes to a lesserextent.Kinetic analysis of the two design schemes, preliminary activities weight, activitieswith a heavy fuel tank and boom, dipper stick, bucket and boom cylinder or stick cylinderand the oil system is different from the ’ hydraulic control of energy-saving technologies ’energy-saving method. The energy saving effect of energy use in the course of their work upand down the working device is better than the hybrid excavator; Simultaneously active weight, activity and weight cylinder connected to each other geometric parameters make upthe sports bodies have a greater impact on energy-saving design and effect.Finally, apply the AMESim Hydraulic emulation software, comparative analysis oftraditional excavator pressure curves and balance excavator boom cylinder and stick cylinderpressure curve, energy-saving effect of the balance excavator two options than traditionalexcavators, respectively13.29%and29.01%, also with a weight of the fuel tank and thehorizontal angle of3.8°~61°(arm) and3.4°~43.3°(Stick) changes within the energy savingeffect is more obvious conclusion. For the balance excavator further R&D and production toprovide a more detailed reference information.
