Design And Application Of Removable Belt Conveyor Driving Station Based On ANSYS

Continuous belt conveyor is an important part of material delivery system, and isthe most effective and widely used type of continuous conveyor. In order to reduceworking intensity of workers, boost mechanization of production, belt conveyor iswidely applied currently in mining, metallurgy, power plant constructions, ports andshop product line. Belt conveyors have become indispensable conveying equipmentsin operations of domestic large scale open pit.Opencast working, which mining enterprises are encouraged to construct, is oflarge mining capacity, safe production, environmental friendliness and easy secondplowing. Production cost and benefit of open pit mining rest on the level of completeequipment, and removable belt conveyor is a key part in the research and design ofcomplete equipment. Removable belt conveyor can be moved and set with thechanges of excavating faces periodically. Because it can move without disassemblingmechanical and electrical equipments, the resetting operation can be finished in arelatively short time.The thesis is about removable belt conveyor in large scale open pit, and makes aresearch on its theory and design method. Stress and distortion of key structural partsof main frame are analyzed, when driving station is in two typical conditions,working condition and removable condition respectively. The interactive workingprocess of CAD and ANSYS is detailed, and the calculation of finite element analysisis analyzed. Adopting mechanics and finite element analysis, analysis and optimaldesigns are accomplished.With the research of designing theory and method of removable belt conveyordriving station, the optimal design is completed, which enables our company todesign and manufacture the removable belt conveyor with large capacity, longdistance and high belt speed. It is significant in improving market competition.
