Electronic laser target is an important component of shield laser guidance system. Inorder to obtain high accuracy of shield attitude angles, an electronic laser targetmeasurement system which based on ARM is designed. The system integration of theoptical imaging technology, image processing technology, data transmission technology,and can complete the highly repetitive and precision measurement task.The hardware of the system is designed with a modularization thought, includingCCD image acquisition module, data acquisition module and embedded module. Thisdesign can simplify the complexity of hardware design, and improve the stability andreliability of the system. Because Linux is a multi task operating system, the measurementsystem using it as software platform to realize the system application, which can completeimage acquisition, image processing and data processing.With the background light moving can influence laser spot location, a laseridentification algorithm based on morphological filtering is proposed. The algorithm usingmorphological filtering to generate background image. Experiments show that thealgorithm can effectively reduce the influence of background micro move and greatlyimprove the SNR of images.Based on the characteristics of laser spot in the system, the appropriate spot locationalgorithm is proposed, and difference factors which influence laser spot location arestudied through experiments.Finally experiments of the system are carried out, and results show that the systemhas high measuring accuracy and reliability.
