Research On The Structure And Control System Of Solar System

With the rapid development of science and technology, modern science and technology, asits product, is bound to be faced with self-innovation and self-breakthrough. Exhibits design,to convey scientific knowledge and stimulate scientific enthusiasm, is the central part of thescience and technology. A solar moving model system was designed，which is to demonstratethe movement rules of the solar system, and inspire the scientific thinking of audience. Thisthesis mainly covers the following research work:The functional requirements of the solar system were analyzed in detail; the systemstructural module was established; and the control scheme was chosen, that is “industrial PC,movement control cards combined with servo motors”.The mechanical structure frame design was developed. The main module design is: therevolutions and rotations of eight planets, emitting light and rotation of the sun, the revolutionof the moon around the earth. Then the covering board and support structure were brieflyintroduced.The hardware design of the solar control system was researched. The core of the controlsystem based on PCI-1240U was proposed. All subsystems, consist of control cards unit,power, sensing, servo motor and DC geared motor, were elaborately presented. At last, theelectrical control cabinet design and electrical components location arrangement were given.The software design of the solar system was carried out. According to the requirement ofthe exhibits model HMI, overall control concept of the control system was in-depth described,and the design scheme of each human interface was put forward.This exhibits model, as the important one of Hunan Science and Technology Museum, hasrun nearly one year. The result shows, the solar system model possesses the outstandingperformance such as stable and reliable operation, simple and beautiful structure and easymaintenance. Though HMI, movement rules, such as special astronomical phenomena,the astronomical phenomenon in any certain date, and the revolution of the solar system, canbe appreciated, and the model meets the subject of science and technology museum,extremely.
