With the rapid development of urbanization, real estate is experiencing a rapid andprofound revolution. In the wave of vast residential construction, improving the qualityof residential areas are facing tremendous challenges: the monotony of design routineand construction models, fail to reflect the geographical characteristics of Wuhan. In thesummer, there has been a lot of open space in residential areas with low utilization,many design intent failed to meet the needs of users, or the actual needs of users has notbeen reflected in the built environment. So this article is from this perspective. Throughthermal comfort survey and physical environment measure of living environment,summarizes the issues of thermal comfort in the current environment of residentialareas, in order to provide a theoretical basis for the improvement of the thermalenvironment in residential areas, as to improve the utilization of residential areas.First of all, this paper use the methods of survey to examine the environmentalparameters, parameters of life, psychological factors and behavioral factors, which hasintegrated impact of human thermal comfort in open environment. Through collect thedata of physical environment in residential open space (air temperature, relativehumidity, air velocity, the black-bulb temperature, etc.). Summarize the residentialopen space thermal environment and the negative factors affecting the thermal comfort,and ultimately propose an effective solution to Wuhan residential open space thermalcomfort conditions in summer.In the thesis I do conducted field research in JianQiao ChunTian, JinDi GuoJIHuaYuan, Vanke ChengShi HuaYuan. Want to solve this problems:①Investigationthe related parameters which affect human thermal comfort in summer;②By measurethe leisure environment in different residential areas and summary the different forms ofphysical environment comprehensively, which have problems in leisure thermal comfortconditions;③By the survey of thermal comfort in residential areas, combined with thestatistical theory analysis to study the different types of open space, which havedifferent thermal comfort zone in the external environment, and to explore thedifferences of the indoor and outdoor environments in thermal comfort;④For theresults, propose the methods of improve the thermal comfort for the outdoor leisure environment.
