| Groundwater resources as a living source of drinking water in recent years graduallyare affected by human factors and the groundwater pollution gradually increases. Thewater quality assessment is to evaluate the source of drinking water quality good or bad. Itis a basic and pre-work to find water pollution and to take preventive measures. Therefore,as water scarcity, understanding the status of groundwater quality in Baotou, studyingsustainable development, utilization of groundwater, pollution prevention, as well as thepromotion of sustainable socio-economic development has important practical significance.Through field investigations and sampling, this research collects water qualitymonitoring data in the total of six groundwater monitoring points in2001to2008ofBaotou. Select the eight water quality indicators for analysis.Firstly, use improve NemeroComprehensive Pollution index to evaluate the city water quality of BaoTou. On the basisof comprehensive consideration of each monitoring point for all water quality indicatordata, calculate the water quality monitoring points in each year. Three monitoring pointsare heavily polluted and moderately polluted and the other three are lightly polluted. Thewater quality of overall monitoring region is poor and the pollution is more serious. Fromthe water quality changes over the years, we can find that evey monitoring point waterpollution has not effectively improved and some monitoring points have the worseningtrend. Followly, use the factor analysis to analysis the water quality influencing factors.Usefewer principal components factor to explain the water quality reflected by a variety ofwater quality elements. Analyze the impact factor of the water quality to identify thepollution sources and causes. The analysis shows that the pollution factors graduallyincrease. Industrial and domestic sewage are the main source of pollution. Finally, use BPneural network to check the grading evaluation of water quality.It is consistent with theresults of the traditional mathematical evaluation methods and more accurate. It reflectsthat artificial intelligence method has good fault tolerance and nonlinear mapping ability. Itis a modern and viable evaluation method to manage the water resources.The water quality assessment and analysis of water quality factors shows that thewhole water quality is poor and water pollution is serious, besides, the contaminated area isbroad. Therefor, pollutant emissions should be controlled. Carry out the strict emissionlimits and emission reduction system, in particular, control the waste discharges ofindustrial wastewater strictly and strengthen supervision. Dispose the pollutants in theresidential areas and public places in a whole and improve the processing rate of the city’swastewater and the rubbish. According to the pollution characteristics of each region andthe different levels of pollution, take targeted control measures. It should put focus on theserious pollution factors in the water element. For example, the pollution of the monitoringpoint one and monitoring point six are most serious, so we should put focus on the controlof peripheral pollution emissions. Find the enterprises or concentrated residential areas,according to the water pollution characteristics. Then put focus on the control of the wastewater or residential sewage discharged from such enterprises or concentrated residentialareas. |
