Consider of special characters, it’s hard to press silt densely by usual method ofconstruct embankment, it’s necessary to use some special method to construct siltembankment. Meanwhile, because of the low-regularity, it’s too difficult to get therepresentative maximum dry-density by the method which uses the density as keyexamination index, so the accuracy is low. To more realistic, we should solve the issueabout design, construction, examination and many other aspects essentially of siltembankment. North Anhui which with dense highway belong to the plain shape byYellow River, this study benefit on local economy, curtail project time limit, reducecost of engineering, enhance quality of engineering, economize resources, thisresearch will provide reference data of consummate the technical standard of designand construction about silt embankment.This research is based on basic engineering, use many method concludeinvestigation and research, analysis, experiment indoor or outdoor and real survey,analyze and research the method which the examination and quality evaluation of siltembankment, technology of press construction and technology about examination andquality evaluation of press construction on different views.This paper presents innovative research results are as follows:1、It’s too difficult to get the representative maximum dry-density by the methodwhich use the density as key examination index, so the accuracy is low.2、When construct silt embankment, we should first use bulldozer or light-road rollerto work, then use weight-road roller to work with low-frequency and strong shake,and then work with high-frequency and light shake, in the end, use theglossy-wheel-road roller. When silt with the most suitable moisture, the strengthwill increase with the increase of convertible-frequency efficiency.3、To pledge the quality of press silt at North Anhui, we can use the Va as keycontrol index. In this way, can reflect the real dense level of silt, also can removethe influence from examiner. For the under-embankment range9094, putforward use Va≤11%as key control index; for the upper-embankment range≥95,put forward use Va≤9%as key control index.4、Put forward the key control index of elastic modulus should base on the result which come from indoor-examination multiply0.85when construct siltembankment at North Anhui, accord existing corresponding standard, to be newkey control index of different elastic modulus as different density.
