Modulus of asphalt mixture is one of the important parameters of structuraldesign of asphalt pavement in our country. Compaction degree of asphaltpavement usually uses as the quality control standards of compaction pavementrolling, while ignoring the modulus of asphalt mixture test verification, so wecan’t judge whether the road reach the state of the design, also cannot judgeconformity of the construction and design. Therefore, in this paper, through the combining method of indoor test andoutdoor test, we conducted a real-time monitoring of the compaction of asphaltpavement construction by dynamic modulus test system developed by resonanttesting method and fiber Bragg grating sensing technology, put forward thecontrol node index of asphalt pavement compaction, estimated the modulus ofasphalt surface, combined with the real engineering for validation.First, we conduct a research using the method of Resonant Testing Deviceabbreviated RTD, including the dynamic modulus test of feasibility study andinfluence factors analysis two aspects, through comparing the measured dynamicmodulus value by comparison tests and repeatability tests with UTM measuredvalue to study the feasibility of this method, then, analyzing the influence factorsof the method, including by hitting position and sensor placement, specimendiameter, height of specimen and mixture types, in order to measure the methodto test the reliability and accuracy dynamic modulus.Secondly, by using optical fiber grating sensing technology indoor testmethods researched the asphalt mixture’strain change rule in the process ofcompaction and proposed compaction control node indicator; by studying therelationship between the dynamic modulus and degree of compaction, establishforecast model of the dynamic modulus; analysis of the effect of different loadsize and frequency on strain sensor strain response. Finally, combining with test road to verify the compaction control nodeindex that are put forward on the indoor test, through the pavement coring toverify the accuracy of the prediction model of asphalt mixture, combining withthe construction monitoring of the compaction process to put forwardreasonable suggestions for pavement construction compaction technology.
