The research of QJ model compressor noise was done in this paper for one year, some results are concluded as follows:(1) Measured the separated compressor noise in the current test environment to shorten the test time.(2) Identified the noise source of the compressor, and analyzing the noise character was included in this paper. We can learn that the air flow noise and structural vibration is the main source.(3) Analyzed the modal of the valve with the finite element analysis software-ANSYS, and based on the noise test result, put forward the influence of valve thickness on air flow noise.(4) Given9kinds of muffler and measured the noise on the separated compressor, the result indicated that, the Small-Bore Jet Noise Muffler made by aluminum and expanding muffler can reduce the noise sharply, the reduction is more than10dB.(5) According to the separated noise result, decided the Small-Bore Jet Noise Muffler made by aluminum and the expanding muffler to assemble on the compressor which was to be measured the noise with the industrial standard, running on the working status. These tests shown that these mufflers can decrease the noise by0.3-0.6dBA.These studies can offer the guidance and reference on how to research and develop the low noise compressor.
