With the continuous improvement of the emission regulations, selection of theelectronically controlled high-pressure common rail fuel injection system has become aninevitable trend in diesel engine industry. Europe, Japan and other developed countrieshave large quantities of high-pressure common rail system products on the market, whilethe domestic independent brand of common-rail system is in trial production phase. Theinjector body couples is one of the core components of the common rail system, soresearch of the injector body couples manufacturing processes is very essential.Based on analyses of the structure characteristics of high-pressure common railinjector body couples, the author analyzed the difficulty of injector body couplesprocessing technology, and the key processes in the production, and the optimizationschemes were determined. The reasonable gun drilling, honing process parameters havebeen calculated from processing experiment test on the basis of theoretical analysis. Thispaper introduces the design of mechanical and electrolytic deburring process to effectivelyimprove the cleanliness of the injector body. A diamond-like coating process of controlpiston surface was studied, and sliding resistance and wear resistance of control pistonsurface after coating were more excellent, and injector performance improved. Ultimatelysuccessful completion of the injector body couples batches test has laid a foundation forthe following common rail industrialization.
