《Code for design of concrete structures》 was published on August18,2010,and then was officially implemented on July1,2011.There are some differences between code for design of concrete structures GB50010-2010and GB50010-2002.The analysis of the durability design and component axial-section and shear-section capacity are liasted, combined with a framework of structural engineering instance.In addition,in order to understand the difference of Chinese and American specifications,the components of normal section and oblique section capacity calculation are compared.The main contents include:1.Combined with actual engineering instance, the durability design (environment category divided, concrete materials requirements, the limits of caculating cracks width, the minimum protective layer thickness of the reinforced) are compared.And the axial capacity and shear capacity of the new and old codes in China are compared.2. The basic assumptions, an expression of design and construct provisions of the axial capacity and shear capacity are comppared between China code GB50010-2010and the U.S code ACI318-05.3. The actual engineering of steel consumption calculated according to the new and old codes are compard,under three comparison programs.4. According to the Chinese and American codes of theoretical knowledge of the axial section and shear section capacity.the steel consumpition of beams,slabs and columns in actual engineering are compared.
