Submarine acoustic stealth is to ensure that the submarine combat efficiency areimportant factors, the submarine shell for damping material, which can absorb each otheractive sonar detection of acoustic waves, and can be isolated from the submarine noise spreadoutward, to achieve the purpose of submarine acoustic stealth, therefore, the study on acousticperformance of damping material has attracted a lot of attention. At present the researchdirection is mostly acoustic technology level, for the application of damping material ofsubmarines in the actual battle effectiveness is still lack of research. According to the actualstart, select as remote vigilance task of passive sonar search effectiveness research, throughthe effectiveness value change assessment of submarine acoustic stealth performance, but alsofor passive sonar antisubmarine effectiveness assessment. To model and parameters aretreated as follows: ADC method to build passive sonar search effectiveness model; wavesuperposition method for the calculation of submarine acoustic radiation of submarineantisubmarine tactics; simultaneous acoustic propagation loss model, deduced from the targetsound source and passive sonar search performance relationship; finally through thesimulation, get the submarine acoustic stealth (acoustic source level change) of passive sonarsearch performance.The results show that: the use of acoustic stealth technology (covering the dampingmaterial) can effectively inhibit the submarine radiated acoustic signal, for passive sonarsearch efficiency will decrease, which enables me to shorten the distance between thesubmarine was found in the enemy, is helpful for developing our submarine operationaleffectiveness. Experimental results show: the wave superposition method to calculate thecoverage of damping material cylindrical shell, the results meet the requirements ofEngineering application.
