Infrared stealth technology has become the important performance and significant feature of the new generation fighter,whether in stealth aircraft design stage,production and use stage,the performance evaluation of infrared stealth of the new generation fighter is essential.In response to this demand,a portable infrared stealth system for performance evaluation is proposed,three main tasks are accomplished in the process of system design:firstly,the evaluation indexes and methods of infrared stealth performance are studied.The infrared stealth performance evaluation indicators,including radiation temperature difference,spot exposure size,detection probability,visible distance and stealth efficiency,are determined.According to the evaluation index,the stealth performance evaluation method and evaluation process based on infrared imaging system are also determined;Secondly,a principle prototype is set up.In this paper,the evaluation of long wave infrared stealth performance from 8 to 14 ?m is used as an example.According to the evaluation method and flow,the principle and composition of the infrared stealth performance evaluation system of the portable vehicle are determined,and the function modules of the hardware system are selected and implemented.And the system software is designed.At last,the calibration experiment and the function verification experiment are carried out.The calibration experiment includes the radiation temperature calibration and the minimum resolution temperature difference calibration.By using the aircraft counterfeit target,the functional verification experiments were carried out for verification.Moreover,according to the calculation results of each evaluation index,the stealth efficiency of the aircraft counterfeit goal is determined and theinfluence factors of stealth performance evaluation are analyzed.According to the research proposed in this paper,the rationality of the evaluation index selection,and the feasibility of evaluation method and evaluation device are determined,which providing an important reference for further research on aircraft and other performance evaluation of infrared stealth camouflage target.
