Mass concrete refers to any volume of concrete that has a minimum dimension equal to or greater than1meter, or concrete that has the possibility of cracking caused by heat generated from hydration of the cement. Mass concrete is widely used in different engineering projects. However, the temperature stress during the hydration tends to cause the cracks, thus hinder its widespread use. This paper concludes the control measures of mass concrete cracks in the material choosing, prestressed concrete construction.By studying the development and use of mass concrete at home and abroad, this paper proposes the control measures of mass concrete cracks and prestressed concrete construction technology.The paper discusses the influence of materials choosing on the control of cracks with the data collected from the construction of Yiwu International Expo. It details the solution of structural force, structural deformation and cracks in the early and latter stage with the application of unbonded prestressed concrete construction technology and the construction technology of post-tension cohesive prestressed beams.
