With the rapid development of China’s science and technology, the developmentand utilization of ocean is more and more. As a powerful tool for ocean development,sonar has increasingly been the focus. The quality and performance of transduceracoustic performance is directly related to a sonar, so the parameter measurement fortransducer is particularly important.Transducer parameters of automatic measuring device is a system,which canmeasure transducer parameters automatically, the design goal is to make it more easyto operate the system and to make the system more stable and reliable with accuracymeasurement and high level of automation that can automatically measuretransmitting voltage response and other parameters.The entire system is modular in design ideas, from both hardware and softwareparts. The core of hardware platform is floating-point DSP of TMS320F28335,including sweep signal transmission, A/D acquisition and the ability to communicatewith computer through the serial port. Software components include:(1) The displayand control software uses of Visual C++development and runs on the computer, itsfeatures include measurement parameter settings, system status display and control,measurement data display, automatic save, print, etc.;(2) DSP software program isdeveloped in CCS environment, its features include the control of DDS, A/D and theprocessing of the collection data.System is able to automatically measure parametersaccording to the setting of display and control software, and measurement results canbe transimitted to the host computer. Automatic measurement system can becompleted include: transmitting voltage response the space directivity and acousticenvironment noise ratio and so on. In addition, the display and control softwareincludes automatic screen shots, Word report generation, printing control, and errorfunctions. Measurement process can be fully automated done for the system. In thepremise of ensuring accurate measurement, it reduces operator workload and improvework efficiency.After a long trial laboratory tests and a series of pools, the system is provedstable and reliable.The accurate measurement results are accurate and the technicalindicators have reached the design requirements.
