Abstract/Summary:
With the excellent thermodynamic properties, including the large specific power output,the high thermal efficiency and the low emissions of NOx and so on, the Steam injectioncycle has become one of the most important methods to solve the energy crisis andenvironmental problems at this stage. Considering the the absence of characteristicperformance of the compressor and turbine, extrapolation and penumatic method are usedindividually to calculate their performences. Finally, the modular object-oriented modelingmethod is used to study the STIG performance contrastively,with the basis of one certainmarine-turbine type. In this thesis, the following elements are completed:1)Use the feature-stage method to compressor part load characteristic and Map tocompile the calculation programs of the of properties of compressor. The Map is choosed tocalculate the compressor based on the comparing results that the minium error of feature-stagemethod is5%and the maximum error of Map method is0.8%.2) Based on a reliable loss model in turbine cascade and the known properties ofgeometric parameters of the turbine model, the loss calculation program and the turbinecharacteristic program are compiled by C language computer program and the accurategeneral characteristics of the turbine had been obtained through the computer program. Aftercompared with the experimental results, it is found that they are matched relatively well.There’s a big error between these two results under some low power conditons, but still meetthe requirements of accuracy.3) According to the established simulation model and the thermo-dynamic calculationprograms of the advanced cycle water system, calculated the variable steady-state simulationconditions, and also researched the variable conditions of gas turbine dynamic simulation andSTIG cycle system. Through the simulation, the steady-state and variable load performancediagrams of simple cycle system, steady-state performance diagrams of STIG cycle, and thecompared performance diagrams between simple cycle and stream injection STIG cycle havebeen reached. Due to the limitation of the performance of steam producer, its quantityincreases and then decreases with the increase of water injection rate, therefore the maximumquantity of steam producer under different operation conditions can be obtained by thecalculation program. Simultaneously, with the changing of steam quantity, the variation·trend of the efficiency and power output of gas turbine are similar with it of steaminjection rate.
