In the next five years,low-income housing shall occupy a large proportion of theChinese real building market. In the development of low-income housing, one of themost positive actions of our government is strongly advocating the green building. Thus,strengthening the energy-saving management, improving energy efficiency, andbettering the building envelope of thermal properties so as to make the buildingcomfortable has become a much-needed subject. At present, the energy-efficientbuilding demonstration project is at full blast throughout the whole country, aiming atpopularizing the achievements and promote the development of building energyefficiency. Due to the diversity of the energy-saving building materials, in order to reachthe energy saving standards, the overuse of the materials has caused a great waste ofresources. Therefore, How to make use of the available materials and give full play toits function, in order to meet the requirements of the energy conservation standards, isour Major Research Direction.In this paper, the author will give a brief analysis of residential buildings energyconsumption characteristics and envelope insulation performance by considering thefeature of geography and climate in Tai Zhou. Besides, according to the technicalrequirements of different building envelope, the paper will also introduce externalthermal insulation system、external interior insulation system、external self-insulationsystem and the Construction Technology as well as the advantages and disadvantages ofvarious technologies of building envelopes theoretically and at the same time we cangain the testing data of envelop through relevant tests, then analyze it comprehensivelyto obtain the optimum combination. Finally use the energy-saving software PKPM togive a annual energy consumption assessment to the engineering example and test itsenergy saving effect.This paper is expected to find out a building energy efficiency system suitable forthe characteristics of Tai Zhou by the energy efficiency research of residential buildingenvelope. The research is containing the inspection of energy efficiency designspecifications and analysis of the economic efficiency and technical performancefor the new energy efficiency technologies and materials of emerging envelope structure.
