Applied Project Management Study To A Small-Size Communication Electronics Equipment Manufacturer

The state and the armies are keeping deepening the reform of weapons and equipments procurement system, promoting the development manufacture system for uniting the army with the people and combine military efforts with civilian support, and standardizing the manufacturing management of weapons and equipments. Presently, in addition to the original10main armaments manufacturers, many other enterprises also passed the examination and got the qualification of armaments manufacturing, which including many small and medium size communication electronics products manufacturers, to take part in the weapons research and production. These manufacturers are not large and without long history, their production and research capability for weapons and equipments need to be improved. In order to standardize the research and production level, the General Armament Department of PLA issued a series of regulations and standards which are related to equipment project management, it pointed out the direction of weapons and equipment research and production should be lead by the method of project management.This thesis takes a typical project of communication electronics system and equipments research and production as the object of study, which undertook by Hebei Shenzhou Satellite Communications Co.,Ltd. a typical small-size manufacturer of communication electronics equipments. Through analyzing and studying how the theory of project management is applied in this research project, the thesis explores the way of enhancing the research and production level by applying the project management. Furthermore, the aim of this article is to make the product management knowledge more specific and practical in this field.
