With the development of power system and the increase of voltage grade, as well as the promotion of power transformer maintenance, more and more reliability of operation is now required. At present, partial discharge has become the main reason that caused insulation deterioration of power transformer and affecting the service life of transformer. In some severe cases,it even led to Sudden insulation breakdown fault and caused damage to the transformer.Therefore, GB50150-2006《The standard for hand-over test of the electric equipment electric equipment installation engineering》regulated that, On-site partial discharge test must be conducted before the installation and operation of220-volts and above transformer. For110-volts transformer, On-site partial discharge test should also be conducted when there is doubt on the insulation.The test result of transformer partial discharge can be affected by various disturbances, including test equipment itself and surrounding interference. How to get accurate and stable test data has been the difficulty of study for a long time.With summing up the research of transformer partial discharge test at home and abroad, and comparing the application of different research methods in the process of on-site test, This thesis proposed the optimized design of transformer partial discharge test in order to make test equipped more reasonable, to minimum the partial discharge of the test and surrounding interference as well, to make more accurate measurement and more to meet the on-site requirement.
