With the development of science and technology, people are requiring a higher level ofautomobile functions. Auto Window Regulator is an important function of vehicle systems.While looking forward to the safety and reliability of Auto Window Regular, people keeppursuing its comfort. To design an efficient, accurate and intelligent regulator has become animportant topic in the car design. The essay is aimed at this subject, and looking into deep todiscuss the design methods and requirements of the regulator. The assay has come up withmore completed design methods in terms of the position layout of the regulator in the cardoor, the structure of its parts,the selection of materials, the check and optimization afterdesign and other aspects of design.The assay first briefly introduces the development of vehicle window regulator, theworking principle of its structures and the advantages and disadvantages of those srtructures,to prepare for the selection of the type of the structures. Then, mainly focus on the twocurrent mainstream of lifts: fork arm regulator and rope arm regulator, and study theirposition layouts, structure design of parts and selection of materials. Finally, check andoptimize the design and test the selected electric hoist motor, according to the emulationmotion of the regulator.The study methods of the essay: to analyse and refer to the associated regulatorinformation; to draw experiences from design work; to use the computer-aided simulationsoftware to simulate the emulation motion of regulator and analyse the data provided. Thecombination of the methods makes the design theory of the essay.
