The Diagnosis Of The Air Conditioning System Of A Theater And The Associate Study Of Improvement

Some problems may occur inevitably for operating air-conditioning system. It is veryimportant to diagnose the air-conditioning system and provide appropriate&systematicimprovement methods to maintain the high performance of the system. Basing on the actualreconstruction of the air-conditioning system in a theater, the diagnosis methodology and theimprovement methods for the air-conditioning system were investigated in this paper.First, the on-site environment was analyzed according to the management groups`concernsand diagnosis methods with measuring equipment were chosen. The data collecting methods anddiagnosis protocol was designed. Then according to the collected data, the comparison wasperformed among the deigned condition and on-going condition along with the CFD simulation.Finally problems of chilled water pipes、surface air cooler、fans、system return air and noise wereidentified and suggestions were provided. Associated with the facility reports from the producerand CFD simulation analysis result, the improvement about air outlets for the large space of theauditorium and the stage was suggested.
