Modern Chinese city housing is at the stage of rapid development, residentialconstruction has become one of important construction projects in china.Residential area isnot only a human body, with the environment based on the organic whole, but also the basiccomposition of the city, the need for better and city environment, better reflect the regionalcultural characteristics, combined with the local history and mode of life of dweller,organically integrate into the city, to create a comfortable, convenient, the affinity of theliving environment. Residential floor area ratio as the basic qualitative and quantitativecontrol indexes, in city planning management plays an important role, directly affects theappearance of the city, city environment and the city traffic, and the city public interestinseparable.The full test take Guangzhou Huadu City Center for example, according to the volumeof residential area, the factors related to the system of scientific research, analysis,comparison, concludes that meet the requirements of city style and suitable for livingvolume rate index, for planning management and provides some experience for reference.This following text is divided into six chapters:Chapter Ⅰ is the introduction, explains the background, purpose, meaning, andcombining with the research status at home and abroad, put forward the research methodand working train of thought;Chapter Ⅱ is the theoretical basis of the volume, the present volume ratio indexcharacteristics and connotation, and defines the related concepts;Chapter Ⅲ expounds the current volume rate determining method and existing problems,and from the macro, meso, microcosmic three levels analysis of the effects of volume ratioindex to identify the relevant factors;Chapter Ⅳ is on domestic and international metropolis residential volume rateestablishment situation carries on the analysis, unifies the domestic and foreign city fordensity zoning, management unit and the volume of the related management regulations,proposed for Huadu District Management approach.Chapter Ⅴ take Guangzhou Huadu City Center for example, on the existing residentialarea volume ratio and planning to build data based on the statistic analysis, combined withthe actual situation of Huadu City Center construction, its density zoning and managementunit division, from the macro, meso, microcosmic three levels, put forward the volume ofplanning control requirements, to establish settlements development intensity controlsystem, supplemented by specific plots of the case analysis.Chapter Ⅵ is a summary of the thesis, the flower center city each management unitcharacteristic, put forward suggestions for the volume rate of interval, city planning management and preparation of reference, and put forward the need to further deepen theproblems and future prospects.
