Multi-function garden machinery can realize garden work, such as opening ditch, digging holes, mowing the lawn and leveling garden greenbelt etc. The basic requirement of modern city landscape construction is high speed, efficient, high quality and low cost. So early city landscape construction production model that manual work occupies preferential proportion and machinery occupies auxiliary one can’t satisfy the existing demand. At the same time, as people living standard rising, the rapid increase of wage, realizing the mechanization of city landscape construction is an inevitable trend.This paper studies the multi-function garden machinery that combined with the mature engineering machinery technology such as modern hydraulic technology, electronic control technology, fast connection technology, while taking the characteristics of the garden homework into account. This paper first introduced the development, the key technology and market prospect gap of multi-function garden machinery at home and abroad. Then the paper studies its kinematics and dynamics, confirms the basic conditions of skid steer, concludes the movement differential equation. In order to study the multi-function characteristics, this paper makes deep research of digging and earth-moving, the two familiar landscape practices, related with the combination of3d modeling and analysis software. In order to study the work attachments, the paper makes modal analysis of drill bit combined with ANSYS software, and makes simulation analysis of the linkage mechanism, concluded the relevant curve with ADAMS. All of these are significant to the analyses of working characteristics.Finally, this paper makes optimized analysis of the machine’s structure with optimization design and MATLAB numerical analysis software. An optimization model and the objective function are established with reference to the concrete numerical. It is concluded that the optimum parameters of the related numerical.
