Studying On The Reuse Of Urban Waste In Landscape Architecture

In spite of the speeding development of urbanization in our country, and the increasing amount of urban waste, people have higher requirement toward the quality of living environment. There is a huge contradiction between the necessary material requirements for urban development and growing resources and environmental. Transforming the urban waste into reusable resources is an important way to solve the problem. The construction of Landscape Architecture has become an important way to improve the urban ecological environment and enhance the quality of life. This thesis has practical significance and value based on the current study.This thesis takes urban waste as the object and adopts literature review, comparative analysis and practical investigation as research methods. With the research of the concrete application of urban waste into the construction of Landscape Architecture, we mainly find the following results:1、In terms of theoretical aspect:this thesis systematically analyzes the basic theories and related technologies used in the process of recycling urban waste since20th century. At the same time, it generalizes the related ideas and principles that affected urban waste used in Landscape Architecture. As a result, it lays theoretical foundations for the specific application of urban waste used in garden Landscape Architecture.2、In terms of practical investigate aspect:this thesis investigates the application of urban waste into the Landscape Architecture both at home and abroad, analyzes and summarizes the investigation from the point of view of Landscape Architecture.3、In terms of practical aspect:this thesis summarizes four ways for application:the function of transforming, art remodeling.Eco-use and recycling through investigating and analyzing based on the related theories. Within the research result, this thesis proposes application process of urban waste used in garden Landscape Architecture according to actual case, and expand actual case study on the old South Railway Station of Changsha.A large numbers of urban waste in the modern city have a highly plasticity. Through the research, it erects a bridge between the urban waste reuses and Landscape Architecture design. Thus, it may effectively solve the issue of the urban waste, explore the underline metaphorical values and enhance the economic value. What is more, the application of urban waste into Landscape Architecture is a new way to treat the use of resources and an innovative thinking to explore the design of Landscape Architecture. As an important economical method, the application of urban waste pushes for the steady development of Landscape Architecture and brings a more humorous and fresh visual enjoyment for appreciators.
