Research On Utilizing Ancient Architecture In Hengyang City Based On The Purpose Of Protection

Ancient architecture is the soul of a city and historical ancient architecture is one of thebasic city cultures. Only constantly to find, confirm, rescue, protect, repair, utilize and managethe old architectural relics can contextualize and inherit history mixed into the modern, whichmakes the city from history into the future.As the representative of regional ancient architecture and soul, the ancient architecturewith a long history culture and full of highlighted architecture, art, science and technology andaesthetic value has been more and more emphasized by people in the cultural tourism boomingtoday because of its unique value. However, due to the development of the urbanization, thestate protection of the monomer or community ancient architecture full of rich historyinformation is not optimistic.Hengyang is a famous cultural city with a long history, and the long history leaves richcultural heritage for Hengyang people. Architecture as an important part of cultural heritagewill undoubtedly become one of the effective symbols of the ancient cultural prosperity ofHengyang. Because of the adverse impact of ages and wars, the preserved of the monomer orcommunity ancient architecture is not too much, but the survived ones provide rare materialsfor people to know about the ancient Hengyang.This paper based on the practical research on the relics of the monomer or communityancient architecture in Hengyang area found that the existing buildings in Hengyang with greatnumber, rich types, wide distribution, unique resources and multiple value. But, because oflong-time unrepair, man-made destruction, lack of infrastructure and other influencing factors,the state protection of the ancient architecture in Hengyang area is a concern. In addition toindividual architecture with important aesthetic and education value, most other ancient areseriously damaged because of long-time unrepair, man-made destruction and so on. Thereasons causing the bad consequences are various, of which the main influencing factorsinclude concept problems, the lag of the planning, the promoting construction, the insufficientfunding for the protection, the absence of unified whole protection mechanism, the lack of theprofessionals and so on.Through analysis of the domestic and international ancient architecture protection andutilization of practical experience, this paper puts forward that to improve the understandingand strengthen the leadership, to set up the idea and perfect the system, to plan scientificallyand prominent characteristics, to focus on protection and comprehensive utilization, to increase the intensity of cultural relics law enforcement and to combat against the destruction of ancientbuildings in accordance with the act, which is the basic way to choose for protecting ancientarchitecture in Hengyang region. And on this basis, the fundamental purpose to achieve fullprotection and effective utilization of the ancient architecture in Hengyang needs to do twounions, adhere to the four principles, perfect the five big systems and plan the implementationof the key project of "resource transformation".
