Vehicle safety and performance are the important factors which are related with tire pressure. While the car was traveling at high speed, abnormal pressure not only have influence on the life of tires but also fuel economy, and even cause a tire blowout, these are all the major potential problem in country road traffic. TPMS (Tire Pressure Monitoring System) is mainly used in real-time on the tire air pressure monitoring and automatic alarm, so that the driver can take measures to avoid the occurrence of accidents. Because the traditional lithium battery has bigger volume and greater weight, limited life, and the replacement is also very troublesome. Therefore, this paper discuss a research scheme of tire pressure monitoring based on piezoelectric ceramic fiber vibration power supply,by collecting automobile vibration energy in the driving, to realize the long-term energy supply of tire pressure monitoring system.Combining the piezoelectric self-powered technology, and the working characteristics of tire pressure monitoring system, this paper establish the overall design of the tire pressure monitoring system based on piezoelectric vibration-powered. The main research contents including piezoelectric resonators structure optimization, energy conversion storage circuit, TPMS hardware circuit, system software.At first this article uses the finite element method (ANSYS) to make simulation on the piezoelectric material structure and interface parameters, and with the combination of piezoelectric material vibration test used by laboratory platform, verify how the material’s parameters, the external vibration conditions and other factors get impact on power generation, in order to offer structure optimization theoretical basis.And then make detailed analysis on work efficiency of the piezoelectric energy conversion and storage circuit. And through the test of energy conversion devices and storage device, to verify the feasibility of realize the stable power supply.At last make detailed analysis on the design of transmitting module installed in the tire and receiving module mounted in the cab, Establish a wireless sensing system with MSP430MCU as the core.The tire pressure sensor SP12will collect data and by the internal processing, through the SPI interface to make communications with MCU, then package by the MCU,and sent to RF chip nRF24L01launch out. At the same time, receiving module of the microcontroller through the nRF24L01receiving host to instruction, complete the corresponding alarm and control tasks. Through the simulation analysis and relevant test results show that Piezoelectric self-powered device can launch of stable power supply for transmitter module of TPMS, realize the tire pressure monitoring system to work properly.
