With the development of diesel engine to high-speed, light and high-power direction, body vibration of diesel engine and the strength of main components ask for stricter and stricter requirements. Based on diesel engine friction and wear test rig, the paper selected a electromagnetic loading device-magnetic powder brake for radial load of diesel engine output shaft by analyzing a variety of advantages and disadvantages of the mechanical loading device. By extracting the vibration signal of the diesel engine and the main bearing, we can calculate and compare the vibration parameters in the case of loaded dieseal engine by Labview software. In this way, we can have a better known about the vibration trend of the dieseal engine and the main bearing.Specific studies include the following parts in this article:(1) Select a electromagnetic loading device-magnetic powder brake for radial load of diesel engine output shaft by analyzing a variety of advantages and disadvantages of the mechanical loading device.(2) Have a reasonable calculation and installation commission about the magnetic powder brake and diesel engine to match the test.(3) In the base of introducing the theory of the diesel vibration,we sample the body and main bearing vibration signals under no load conditions by using the frequency domain and time domain analysis methods.(4) Fix the speed respectively, study the vibration signals trend of the diesel engine and the main bearing in the load condition. The conclusion is that vibration of the diesel and main bearing weakened in the condition of loaded device. That’s because loaded device offers a negative torque for the crankshaft which leads to the vibration being better controlled in the reasonable torque.
