Railway server as the main artery of China’s economic and social development. Railway has the features of fast speed, high capacity, light pollution and low energy consumption With the growth of market economy, the transport of goods shows features of diversification and personalization. Heavy-load, faster, container and logistics are the directions of future development of railway transport. How to combine the demand characteristics of goods transport and railway development trends with the practice is an urgent problem to be solved for the better development of railway freight transport.Based on synergetic theory, this paper used the ideas and methods of synergetic to study the collaboration of rail heavy-load transport, railway container transport and railway express from the viewpoint of system.First,This paper analyzed the development process of China’s railway heavy-load transport, railway container transport and railway express and the main transport corridors and analyzed the synergy of railway freight transport system in principles,features and contents.Then,This paper established a collaborative development model of the rail freight transport based on the order parameter. Firstly, it used the necessary conditions and the principle of least squares of a function extremum to find the order parameter in the evolution of rail freight system—railway mileage. Secondly, it used the Fourier function approximation to obtain the order parameter model which could reflect the synergies and random fluctuations of rail freight system. Thirdly, it revealed in theory that the unity of gradual and mutations was the evolutionary pathway of the rail freight system, through the analysis of the potential function for order parameter.Last,This paper established a rail freight system co-evolution model from the synergistic point of supply and demand of the rail heavy-load transport, railway container transport and railway express. It obtained the co-evolution model of rail freight transport capacity under the influence of freight demand, by means of adiabatic elimination principle. Finally, it used a numerical analysis to simulate different evolution model of the rail freight system in different collaborative coefficient.
