As one of the driving sources of modern industrial production equipments, AC servo system plays an important role in automation field. AC servo system is widely used in various aspects of social production and daily life. Compared with other motors, permanent magnet synchronous motor (PMSM) has better control performance. China has rich rare earth resource and manufacturing process of permanent magnetic material is constantly developed. Therefore, PMSM gets more and more attentions. As long as the great development of computer technology, microelectronics technology and power electronics technology, AC servo system has been greatly improved. This paper researches and analyses digital AC PMSM servo control system, and implementation methods based on LabWindows platform are described.Firstly, the author introduces the related knowledge of virtual instrumentation technology, signal acquisition technology, data acquisition card and function features of LabWindows platform. Then, introduces structure of PMSM, working principle, ideological principle of vector control technology, transformation between three coordinate system, the mathematical model of PMSM in d-q coordinates and digital implementation process of SVPWM are introduced by the author.Then, implementation details of vector control technology based on LabWindows platform are introduced by the author. Vector control technology needs to get the current data of three-phase windings on stator of motor, speed and position information of the motor rotor and output SVPWM pulse. The rich DAQ library and powerful data input and output function of data acquisition card provide technical support for implementation of vector control technology. The principles and methods of the current acquisition module, the speed and position detection module and SVPWM pulse generation module are told by the author. In addition, a new open-loop SVPWM pulse generation method is proposed by the author and the correctness is verified by experimental results.Finally, the author describes the hardware and software design of AC servo control system on the LabWindows platform, which takes PC upper computer as main controller and takes data acquisition card as data input and output devices is described by the author. Some test results of PMSM AC servo system and the pictures of circuit boards are provided.
