| Accompany with the rapid development of the societal industry, the more and morewidely use of the Hydraulic Automatic Gauge Control (HAGC) system with high precisionnow attract high attention of the application of technology of the HAGC. The HAGC systemis the most important large-scale core system in strip mill and the Hydraulic Cylinder togetherwith servo of strip mill is the direct execution element, which works in the closed loop of theHAGC system. The Hydraulic Cylinder is the key link of the loop, whose performance indexinfluent the precision and the quality both the dynamic and static of the system directly. Sodoing research on the Hydraulic Cylinder itself makes big help about the optimization design andthe improvement of reliability both on the cylinder and the system.The research of the Hydraulic Cylinder together with servo of strip mill itself contains thestructure, performance and reliability combined with production and development both of athome and abroad in this paper.At first, it introduces the structure simply, describes the processing technology of the mainparts such as the piston and block. And it tests both the dynamic and static characteristic of theHAGC cylinder. Then, a research about the reliability and product-life-cycle is done during mystudy about the production of the HAGC cylinder at home, which summarizes the forms andreasons of invalidation. On the basic, with the help of ANSYS software by the method of finiteelement, an analysis on Glyd ring, which is the most widely used at the seal of the HAGCcylinder, both under no oil pressure and normal working pressure makes us know the failureabout sealing. Finally, combing with the actual situation, it tables a list of reasonable proposalson how to extend the effective life and improve the reliability of the HAGC cylinder from theway of the processing technology of the main parts and the assembling, some special treatmenton the HAGC cylinder, the prevention of rust and the clearing of dirt. |
