With the development of computer technology and computational fluid dynamics theorythese years, numerical simulation and visualized analysis of complex internal flow field ofhydraulic valve by CFD is a new research hotspot. Throttling groove spool valve, also known asnon-circular opening spool valve, it has the characteristics of big hydraulic radius,anti-blocking,wide range flow adjustment, smaller stability flow, and it is widely used in the hydraulicproportional valve and servo valve, the characteristic analysis of throttle groove spool valveplays an important role in the hydraulic valve performance improvement.In this paper, the internal flow field of throttle groove spool valve is numerical simulatedand visualized analysis by using CFD software. Different opening of three-dimensionalsteady-state model were simulated respectively in the same calculation conditions, the speed andpressure distribution, the flow flux characteristics and flow force characteristics of the valve portare obtained. The relationships between the speed and pressure distribution, the flow fluxcharacteristics, the flow force characteristics and the valve port opening, differential pressure areanalyzed, it is helpful to the performance research and structure optimization of hydraulic valve.
