The Contry Park Concept Planning Of Wei River(Between Qindu Bridge And Lv Country) In Xian Yang

In recent years, with the increasing of the attention to the urban river bank landscape all over the world, the researches about the urban river bank landscape have meet with great success in both theory and practice. Coupled with the intensive land use, and meet the people return to a natural demand for the faster development of some Chinese cities have started planning and construction of the Country Park. However, in the existing precedents of river bank landscape, there are problems about such as weak in understanding and inheriting of local culture, or weak in striking a chord to the people and so on. It shows serious digression to the current landscape architecture concept, which encourage designingpoetic habitations. The poetic habitation means to construct the artistic conception of the poetic and picturesque Chinese classical gardens, to reproduce the glamourof the Chinese culture and spirit described in poetries, andto reflect the cultural deposits of Chinese wisdom indicated by poetriesin planning and design.Accordingly, the thesis, which based on practice guided by theory, aims to reproduce the artistic conception of "Fishing net lies on the sand, houseslocate side to the paddy fields" and "The Wei River look like a mirror, and there are fishes and boats with it", which is described by poetries, in planning and design. Meanwhile, the thesis will seek the principles and methods of how the Wei River Complex in poetries can be reflected in the contry park concept planning of river bank in Xianyang City, to create scenery which is full of local cultural glamour of Xianyang City, and can strike a chord to the public.Based on the thinking processes of raising, analysing and solving a problem, the thesis will carry out the research in three parts. The first part presents the background of the research project, do research about the development and current situation of both the domestic and overseas river bank landscape precedents, and confirm the purpose, significance, objects, contents and methods of this research.The second part is based on the analysis and summary of the urban river bank landscapeand the theory of poetic artistic conception, and combined with the poetries of which the contents are relevant to the Wei River, to identify the poetic artistic conception by object, emotion and conception and then summarize the impression of the Wei River described inpoetries. Finally, this part will discuss the methods of achieving poetic artistic conception in modern landscape architecture design in term of the poetic artistic conception.The third part of the thesis analyses the existing precedents of landscape projects along the Wei River (the area between the Qindu Bridge and the Lv Country). Firstly, it researches about the relevant background of the project and combined with the impression and description of the contry park concept planning of river bank in Xianyang City, and then analyses the achievement of poetic artistic conception which embodied in specific projects.This also aims to provide reference to the landscape planning and design about the Wei River or other similar urban river bank landscape projects.
