It is some kind of speech characteristical difference from theatre and gymnasium whenhave conversations in A large exhibition hall. With the development of exhibition hall, thevolume and the people in halls are increasing. How to make the speech intelligibility in highvalue of large exhibition hall become a problem, particularly in the exhibition hall have a longReverberation time and noisy environment. The purpose of research on large exhibition hall isto find the principles and laws to make the satisfaction of speech intelligibility.The hight axial is shorter than the other axials and large volume in large exhibition hall.The large exhibition hall is constructed with a long reverberation time and highEnvironmental noise when holding the exhibition. An investigation to four lagre exhibitionbuildings and analyses the measurement data of GuangZhou International Convention andexhibition center have concerned, the thesis make the simulation analysis of STI and D50with the program of ODEON in different environment noises, different interface acousticalpatterns and the change of people. Make the simulation of STIPA and SPL with the programof EASE to the public broadcasting system.It is the key problem to obtain the basic speech intelligibility in long reverberation timeand high Environmental noise in large volume and it is also the essential architecturalacoustical design of exhibition hall. Through the investigation of document and survey, thethesis makes the conclusion of acoustical field characteristic in exhibition hall. The simulationof software have make the analysis the effect of public broadcasting system in using in longreverberation time and high Environmental noise, and by the change of high Environmentalnoise, what is the difference of STIPA. Thesis presents some adavice for architecturalacoustical design in exhibition hall by the conclusions of characteristical acoustics field andthe simulation of example.
