Asphalt pavement has been widely used in highways and urban roads for its smoothsurface, comfort driving, low noise, short construction time, easy maintenance and manyother advantages. With the growth of traffic volume, the increasing of axle load, sustained hotweather and other comprehensive traffic, environmental impact, rutting has become the mostserious one of the road surface disease, especially in the sections of the long steep of thehighway and the public transports dock site of the urban road, rutting phenomenon is moreserious, and must be resolved quickly.Firstly, according to the actual situation of the road, collect the data information of thepavement temperature, load, running speed, select the upper layer of the typical asphaltmixtures, and then design the scheme of orthogonal test, get effect degree and regularity ofthe above analysis of various factors on the anti-rutting performance of asphalt pavement.Adopting dynamic stability as the evaluation indexes, the results showed that the factorsinfluencing the performance of the asphalt mixture rutting test dynamic stability ranked asfollowed: the type of mixture> temperature> speed> load, and among these factors, theimpact of asphalt type is greater than the gradation on Rutting. The anti-rutting performanceof skeleton dense structure of asphalt mixtures is superior to the suspended dense structure,while using the same structure of the asphalt mixture, the anti-rutting performance ofmodified asphalt mixture is superior to substrate asphalt mixture, at the same time,anti-rutting performance is reduced by the increasing temperature, and the increasing load,enhanced by the increasing driving speed. The type of mixture, temperature and speed has ahigh significant influence on DS, the speed follows.Secondly, in order to gain the force characteristics of the simulation road under thevehicle load, and analysis the impact of the temperature on asphalt and asphalt mixtures’high-temperature performance comparatively, as well as different asphalt’s impact on the hightemperature performance of asphalt mixtures, here adopting AR2000, using70#, SBS asphaltand70#-AC-5, SBS-AC-5asphalt mixtures taking repeated creep recovery test at differenttemperatures, the results showed that the asphalt’s resistance to deformation decrease withincreasing temperature, and at the same temperature, the resistance to deformation of SBSmodified asphalt is better than70#substrate asphalt; the capacity of the resistance todeformation is reduced with the rising temperature, the capacity of the resistance todeformation using SBS modified asphalt mixture is significantly better than70#asphaltmixture at the same temperature and grading conditions. At last, according to the actual situation of the road rut and test, here proposing thecorresponding countermeasures to prevent and treat the road rutting from the road structureand material design, construction quality and management, road operation of managementrespectively.
